FORSVARS-og GARNISONSMUSEUM AALBORG

In de suburbs of Aalborg there is a museum with a lot of stuff from the Danish armed forces. In a too small hall there are also some interesting aircraft. In 2001 a group of volunteers took over the building to establish the Aalborg Defence and Garrison Museum to be opened on the 22nd of June 2002 as a private foundation.

In August 2024 I visited this museum. Opening hours are in summertime every day from 10.00 till 17.00 at the address Skydebanevej 22, 9000 Aalborg. Entrance fee is 80 DKK (about 12 euro) for adults. As a pensioner (65+ in Denmark) I paid 64 DKK.

All aircraft are inside, and taking good photos is very difficult or even impossible. The hall is simply too small to house the aircraft. That makes the museum not very interesting in my opinion.
